Why Tinubu's men don't want Fashola near Aso Rock - Laolu Akande reveals
Laolu Akande, former aide to ex-Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has revealed why some people around President Bola Tinubu do not want former Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, in the current government.
Akande, who served as Senior Media Aide to former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo under the late President Muhammadu Buhari, said Tinubu had yet to deliver his best in office despite having some capable people in his administration.
Speaking during an interview on the Naija Unfiltered Podcast, Akande said some people in Tinubu's camp are blocking Fashola because he will not allow certain things to happen in the government.
According to him, Fashola himself may be tired, but more importantly, some people close to the President do not want him around.
