Confirmed facts
Each fact is a sentence from a source that at least two independent outlets report.
The show follows Hobie, now a Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his father, Mitch, while his world is turned upside down by the surprise arrival of Charlie (Jessica Belkin), the daughter he never knew.
Shay Mitchell, Brooks Nader, Hassie Harrison, Livvy Dunne, Noah Beck, David Chokachi and Thaddeus LaGrone star alongside Amell and Belkin.
The reboot is executive produced by showrunner Matt Nix alongside McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz.
The show also spawned the spinoff “Baywatch Nights” and, in 2017, was rebooted as a failed feature film starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
Amell plays Hobie, now a Baywatch captain following in his father Mitch's footsteps.
