Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) used a Wall Street Journal op-ed this weekend to tear into President Donald Trump’s approach to Russia, and buried at the end was a warning that Trump’s end-of-year agenda could hang in the balance. McConnell zeroed in on Trump’s claim last week that Russia “frankly, has been fine on Ukraine,” which the president made the same day a Russian drone strike on a park killed six people, including two children.
