Government Extends Export Relief Scheme Until March 2027
Under Component II, the government is encouraging exporters to obtain cover from the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) by offering 95% risk coverage.
The benefit applies to eligible standalone and whole-turnover policies obtained on or after March 16, 2026.
The scheme covers Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL) and refrigerated (reefer) shipments, while excluding energy shipments.
The ECGC has also made video tutorials available on its official YouTube channel, @ecgcltd7016, to guide exporters through the process of generating login credentials, completing registration and filing claims.
